Gender Ideology and Child Protection Act

Treats the promotion of gender ideology to a child as emotional harm under child protection and family law, bars social transition in schools, and prohibits hormones and surgery for gender transition for minors, as the mover described it on first reading.

The first part amends the Child, Family and Community Service Act and the Family Law Act. The second covers schools, including changed names or pronouns kept from parents, and removes related materials from them. The third prohibits hormones and surgery for gender transition for minors.
